MKP’s working relationship with Birkbeck College dates back to 2001. In that time we have worked on numerous refurbishment projects, including a 7-storey infill extension involving the addition of two new floors to the existing building. Due to the nature and age of the building the works required are diverse; from offices to cleanroom laboratory environments.
The project involved a 6000sq/m new build and a 2000sq/m refurbishment. The building remained occupied throughout the works and included numerous phases to allow research to continue 24 hours a day.
