TEACHING & LABORATORY SPACE REFURBISHMENT

The project involved the refurbishment of teaching and laboratory areas on the 3rd and 4th floors of the main building at Birkbeck College.

The existing spaces were changed from naturally ventilated spaces, to full mechanically ventilated and comfort cooled spaces.

This upgrade in services was due to the significantly increased heat gains from numerous computer labs and densely occupied teaching and research labs.
