Windmill Farm
15,000 ft sq Private Residence
Windmill Farm is a 15,000ft, private residential development within the South Downs National Park. The project consisted of the refurbishment of a Grade II listed farmhouse, a large new build basement and ground floor construction. A 25m swimming pool was included within the basement area. The project incorporated low emission technologies such as exhaust air heat pumps discreetly installed below ground, photovoltaic solar panels, energy saving lighting controls and solar thermal swimming pool heating. MKP worked closely with the client, architect and interior designer and produced fully co-ordinated design drawings in 3D which minimized the installation time.
