Case Study

Brent Cross

Brent Cross Town is a major mixed-use regeneration project delivering new homes, retail, commercial space, schools and green infrastructure.

Our initial role involved the rationalisation and redesign of multiple plot basements into a single, unified solution. The consolidated basement accommodates approx. 350 parking spaces and centralised servicing for the residential blocks above. Working closely with the wider design team, we coordinated systems to align with the structural grid from roof to basement, removing the need for a costly transfer deck and improving overall efficiency.

We were also engaged on Plots 12, 202, 13 and 203, which include a mix of affordable, private sale, and Build to Rent homes. Collaborating with the concept architects, we developed fully coordinated designs through to Tender, ensuring seamless integration with the architectural and structural strategies.

Drawing on our experience in estate-wide delivery, we focused on optimising efficiency, buildability, and cost certainty, while supporting Related Argent’s commitment to design quality and resident experience.

MKP have a proven track record in both providing detailed design for clients from first principles and being brought in to provide more cost-effective designs that not only meet or better the budgets but can offer added value through reduction in plant and services space. MKP delivers fully integrated, flexible, safe, reliable and sustainable design solutions that satisfy the highest performance criteria while providing maximum value for money.
