Created on the site of the historic Young’s Brewery, Ram Quarter is an innovative development designed to accommodate a vibrant mix of new, high quality homes, premium properties within heritage buildings, and carefully selected retail, leisure and lifestyle experiences.
The design, has opened access to the river, creating a new place where people can enjoy the outdoors, exercise and relax.
The development has retained as much as possible of the site’s heritage.
Phase 1 has been built and Phases 2 and 3 will provide 375 homes (309 private and 66 shared ownership), 32,957 sqft of commercial floor space which includes the Grade II Listed brewery stables block and a terrace of Grade II and Grade ll* listed Georgian townhouses which are to be converted back into residential use.
Phase 2 and 3 comprise of 5 new buildings ranging in height from 4 to 34 storeys. The development has 56 car parking spaces in a basement under Building 4 and MKP Consultants has been employed by St George to advise and design the MEP systems throughout phases 2&3.
